Alessandra Sannuto is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist and board certified by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a diplomate in Acupuncture. She obtained her Master of Health Science and Acupuncture from New York College of Health Professions in Syosset, New York.
She is an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS) having obtained her NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) certificate of training at the Lincoln Recovery Center in the South Bronx. The NADA protocol can be used as an alternative treatment for addictions, mental health, disaster relief and emotional trauma.
Between 2019 and 2020, Alessandra was an “Acupuncturist at sea” for Royal Caribbean fulfilling the role of Ambassador for acupuncture, educating passengers on board by hosting workshops and presentations about the benefits of this ancient healing modality and providing treatments for guests during their cruises.
She has a wide range of clinical experiences, having treated people of all ages for a diversity of health problems including pain symptoms, stress and anxiety, headaches, addictions, digestive and respiratory problems, hormonal imbalances and gynecological issues. Alessandra is passionate about helping others to improve their health and well-being using Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine adjunctive modalities such as Cupping, Gua Sha and Moxibustion.
